Eye of WiFi is a demand-validation website for a WiFi sensing device that is still in development. This policy is about the website — what it collects and what it does with it. It is short on purpose, because we collect very little and we don't track you across the web. We're building a privacy product; a policy full of boilerplate would be a bad start.
To gauge demand, to email you about the pilot and pricing, and — only if you're up for it — to invite you to a short call about what would make the product genuinely useful. We don't email you about anything else, and we don't hand your details to anyone for marketing.
We may offer an optional $20 reservation deposit for people who want to hold a spot in the pilot. It is optional — you can join the free waitlist without paying anything.
Deposits, if enabled, are handled by a third-party payment processor (Stripe). We never see or store your full card details; the processor handles the payment under its own privacy terms.
Waitlist and contact responses live in our own PostgreSQL database. We share data only with the small number of service providers needed to run the site — our hosting provider, our email provider so we can reply to you, and (if you pay a deposit) our payment processor. We never share your data for advertising, and there are no ad networks involved.
You can ask us to show you, correct, or delete your data at any time — just email us and we'll take care of it. We'll remove you from the waitlist on request, no questions asked.
Eye of WiFi is in development; pilot units are expected late 2026. This site is a waitlist, not a store — nothing ships today, and any device images you see are renders, not photos. The sensing science the product is built on is real and proven; the finished device is not yet.
Eye of WiFi is a founder-run project. The fastest way to reach a human — for privacy requests, refund requests, or anything else — is email: hello@eyeofwifi.com. We read and answer these ourselves.
